Each button or slider gives you access to basic settings. To access Control Center, swipe down from the top-right side of your iOS device’s screen. And if you use the Notes app, and want a quick way to jot down ideas, add the Notes button for one-tap access. If you use the calculator often (iPhone only, alas), there’s a button that brings it up quickly. For example, if you like to switch between light mode and dark mode, there’s a button for that.
